A SINO DRO (Digital Readout) is an electronic measurement system used on manual machine tools like milling machines and lathes.
It consists of a digital display screen and linear glass scales mounted to the machine’s axes. As the operator moves the machine, the scales measure the physical movement and display the exact tool position in real-time on the screen.
This eliminates manual handwheel counting, prevents human error, and increases machining speed and accuracy down to micron levels.
